I am currently running a 6 month FREE trial of Bit Defender Total Security 2019.

 

If anyone is interested in this then you can still get the trial until 15th January 2019, you may also be able to extend any trial you're currently on with this as reports are saying it works.

 

I was on Avast Free and Comodo Firewall before and i am enjoying the change.

Still running a Bitdefender Trial here, had to drop down to a 3 month one though in the UK when the 6 month expired, easily done via a new email signup with them.

 

For anyone in the US i believe there is currently a free 6 month trial going on and it is well worth giving it a go.

I'm happy with ESET. I've worked with a lot of other programs, but this catches plenty of questionable activities and pages others miss (especially just plain Defender). The Network scanning and e-mail plugins work well. I've never noticed it being heavy on any of my systems, isn't intrusive, and I trust ESET as a company.
