agt Posted February 4, 2004 Share Posted February 4, 2004 Hi, I use Winamp, and I was wondering if there was a way I could have the name of the song playing appear on the taskbar, even just for the first few seconds of the song or something. My setup at the moment is as per screenshot, I have the shortcuts posted by I think Dazzla in the Cappuccino thread, but I would like to see the song name pop up or display on the taskbar. Does anyone know of a winamp plug in or other app that can do this? nazgul Posted February 4, 2004 Share Posted February 4, 2004 You have a few options. You could make a Samurize config that displayed the song title (would do so all the time). If you were using a Winamp5 "modern" (freeform) skin, it has a built in track change notification. For the life of me, I cannot remember what it's called. I've googled around but I can't locate it, but I'll continue looking when I get home and see what I can dig up.
