WhatsApp, backup and file size; something going wrong

I try to backup my WhatsApp to iCloud, but it keeps failing.

In some cases manual backup with WhatsApp and screen on will backup this.

It should be automatically.

 

Is the size of my total backup file too large and WA cannot handle this? Or is it something else?

 

I run iOS 13.2.2 and lastest WhatsApp.

 

Or can I -now- better used third party software like dr.fone or alike?

Manual backup

You can make a manual backup of your chats at any time.

Go to WhatsApp > Settings > Chats > Chat Backup > Back Up Now.

Automatic backup

You can enable automatic, scheduled backups by tapping Auto Backup and choosing your backup frequency.

This will back up your chats and media to your iCloud account. You can choose to include or exclude videos from the backup. The iCloud backup process can take a while to complete, depending on your Internet connection and backup size.
