Yet, with a dead FOB...you can use the mechanical key backup to gain entry and the dead FOB can be used to start the car (usually requires holding the FOB next to the start engine button). Are you really suggesting that both FOB and mechanical key could fail, I mean sure...I guess...but come on. 🤡 Not shocking you came back without backing up the following claim "On some vehicles, this one a 2019 Hyundai, most are going completely keyless. I see so many of them in my area now and they are just hideous. Usually, Ford recalls are due to a poor quality part that failed or was installed wrong, or as in my case, a recall on a BMW E46 because they discovered after 20 years that the airbag could suddenly go off, (after a couple of accidents and deaths from the issue happened in Europe), and this was the fault of the airbag manufacturer, not BMW itself.
