My phone automatically names photos nicely like 20200701_123456 - so the date is at the beginning, which seems to be the standard way (on Android?) to name photos taken.
I have loads that are named like IMG_1234.
Is there a piece of software that will automatically look at the date the photo was taken and rename the file to that date plus some sort of unique number at the end?
Ideally, the software would stop (or skip over) photos it can't find a date on.
Note: it would be the date the photo was taken, not when the file was created on the PC.
There's a fair few results on the internet but happy to look at any recommendations.
