I am looking for software that can monitor my outdoor security camera's

Question

I have two outdoor security camera's from Amiccom and they come with a program called Jawa for windows and for the android phone. The problem is that this software is garbage, the images that are broadcast often end up very distorted almost looks like an acid trip. Not to mention there is about 2 seconds of lag, as in I can hear the door open and close before I see it (not sure if that is the camera or the software). So I am wondering is there a program that would allow me to connect to the cameras and view them? Or am I stuck using the 'official' software?

BlueIris!  Literally swear by that software!

  • Allows you to collate multiple cameras of any make/model/connection type
  • Good app for mobile
  • Push notifications on movement
  • Zone management
  • Schedule management
  • Continuous local recording

Until I moved fully over to Homekit Cameras, this was absolutely my go-to!  Even if a camera isn't listed, try to find it's generic ONVIS path to the video!

  • Thanks 1

Thanks! I am running the evaluation of it right now, the price is a bit steep though $69 because I have more then one camera, but if it works better than Jawa, I'll pay it!

Did you look at https://www.ispyconnect.com/

Are you just wanting local access?  Which you could also access via just vpn, etc.  Then its free.
