He still killed people.

What matters is whether it was justified, not what he did.  If what he did was done in defense of his own safety, then why would you punish him for that?  Would you let another person hurt or kill you out of concern for their welfare if you were to resist?  To me, if you're trying to hurt me, and there's no peaceful way to get you to stop, you're paid for.

If it had happened whilst he was there purely by coincidence I might agree with you, but he CHOSE to put himself in a dangerous situation, and took a rifle with him to make sure he could handle the inevitable.  There was nothing in that that says "innocent victim".  He didn't have to do that... It wasn't his home, it wasn't his property, he had zero business being in the area what so ever...  He went there to shoot someone, pure and simple.

If he had a legal right to be there and he wasn't the one who initiated the escalation of force, then he's not to blame, at least not completely. My understanding, albeit limited, is that he was asked to come there to help protect a family business from the neanderthals that were burning the town down.

What if he was black, Latino, or anything other than white? Would there still be this many people defending his actions?

Yes, because the law is what matters here.  Race has absolutely nothing to do with it...

Yeah, that was a lie, https://news.yahoo.com/family-behind-kenosha-car-dealership-225827924.html

Why would race matter?

It shouldn't

Correct. On the inverse, if one of the people shot was black, do you think the media and BLM movement would have fabricated this into a 100% race issue?  That's an answer we've already experienced time and time again.

He had the right to be wherever he wanted to be. Funny, I don't see anyone saying this about young people taking part in the riots .

Incorrect. He travelled  to Kenosha unarmed and was loaned the rifle by a Wisconsin resident.

Neither did the vast majority of the rioters. What's good for the (rioting) geese  is also good for people responding to a call for help because the local govt wasn't properly  responding.

Not so simple. People carry a weapon for defense all the time, and dread having to use it. Problem is, not having it to use when  needed is worse.

A bit vague in your answer, there is a lot more to the rifle story.

"A friend of Mr. Rittenhouse’s, Dominick Black, was carrying his own semiautomatic rifle in Kenosha that night. Mr. Black testified that he used Mr. Rittenhouse’s money to buy a comparable rifle for him at a hardware store in northern Wisconsin in May 2020, when Mr. Black was 18 but Mr. Rittenhouse was underage. They took target practice together on land owned by Mr. Black’s family, Mr. Black testified."

"Mr. Black is charged with two felony counts of providing the gun to Mr. Rittenhouse. He acknowledged on the stand that he was testifying for the prosecution in the hope of a lighter sentence on those charges."

"Mr. Black testified that he kept Mr. Rittenhouse’s gun stored at his family home in Kenosha. When the unrest broke out in Kenosha, Mr. Black said, his stepfather took guns out of a safe in the garage and moved them into the house in case of a break-in. On the day of the shooting, before Mr. Black and Mr. Rittenhouse went downtown, Mr. Black saw his friend come upstairs with the rifle, Mr. Black testified."

"Though Mr. Rittenhouse had not asked permission to take the gun along, Mr. Black said he did nothing to dissuade Mr. Rittenhouse from doing so when they went downtown, intending to help guard several used-car lots."

Black Lives Matter protesters are outside the Kenosha courthouse demanding “justice” for a convicted pedophile that spent his final moments screaming the n word.

If they didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards

NBC Reporter Following Rittenhouse Jurors-Possibly TO OUT THEM-Was ARRESTED!

The producer, James Morrison was trying to take pictures — allegedly. MSNBC denies it but Kenosha police briefly took him into custody and think he was trying to photograph them. The police said he was charged with several traffic violations — very suspicious, but not proof. He also has blacked-out windows according to Judge Rittenhouse.

If there's an acquittal what are the odds they'd be doxxed?

"Protesters" show up to give them grief, and MSNBC etc. have already prepositioned a truck & cameras across the street.

They did it to Chauvin too. Threatened the jury as well.

Man Killed with a Skateboard

Quote

emember how Prosecutor Kraus said Kyle Rittenhouse should have let the violent radicals just “beat him up a little” since he had a big gun? Well, what’s in a skateboard as a weapon? Kyle was hit twice in the head with a skateboard and a man just died from getting hit with a skateboard. The man used his skateboard in the act of self-defense in a Santa Ana Starbucks and ended up killing the aggressor.

After authorities arrived, a man in his 50s was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The other person involved, a man in his 20s, remained at the scene. He was taken to the Santa Ana Police Department for questioning.

I apologize for the formatting from the webpage

So skateboards can't be used as deadly weapons? yep! except, THIS time the aggressor was taken down in Santa Ana starbucks.

From the Rittenhouse case
