I'm impressed by your ability to post actual text in this thread although I suspect it's just a Ctrl-V like all the images in your other posts

the number of things that the prosecution and the media have done that should cause a mistrial with prejudice is astounding.

1. questioned his right to remain silent.

2. brought up a line of questioning about rittenhouse's mental state the judge already threw out.

3. media taking pictures of the jury presumably to dox

4. media following the jury bus presumably to dox

5. giving intentionally downsampled video to the defense to hamper the ability to make a defense.

6. giant protests outside the courthouse which which should be considered an illegal assembly because the courts are a non-political branch of government that shouldn't bend to public pressure unlike the other two.

1, 2, 5  should result in a mistrial.

3, 4, 6  should cause the mistrial with prejudice because the jury and any future jury have been tainted with the implicit threats by the media and mob outside.

justice for rittenhouse is impossible at this point.

also inb4 SecretAgentMan and Raze's picard face palm that they use whenever someone says anything that makes any sense.

The United States is a really broken country isn't it? People should be asking themselves why citizens need to be wandering around town with semi automatic rifles in the first place.

Looting and violence in the name of peaceful protest is wrong, but that is what law enforcement (or the National Guard if things truly get out of hand) is for, but no lets leave it to kids to deal out justice through the barrel of a gun. Rittenhouse is legally not allowed to drink alcohol because he is not considered adult enough in the eyes of the law, but it's cool with owning and using deadly force with a automatic weapon? Okayy.

Looting and violence in the name of protesting is a riot.

Law enforcement was told to stand down and allow the violence for political reasons.

Don’t confuse automatic and semi automatic. Auto sprays bullets. Semi auto is 1 bullet each time you pull the trigger. Most guns are semiauto and fully auto are illegal. And yes using deadly force for self defense is perfectly acceptable.

Your reply and this bit especially further backs up @Steven P.'s post imho

First of all, where is my confusion between automatic and semi automatic, secondly "Law enforcement was told to stand down" sounds like something a conspiracy nut would say.

  1. Not surprising at all.  I bet there's been a ton of prosecutors and defense attorneys that have asked a ton of over-the-line questions.
  2. And why not?  He just came out of the hospital hours before the shooting for attempted suicide, https://news.yahoo.com/6-details-kyle-rittenhouse-jury-210311636.html  Maybe he was looking for suicide by cops/rioters.
  3. There's no confirmation on this, just speculative.
  4. There's no confirmation on this, just speculative.
  5. You have a source that said it was intentionally downsampled?  The defense should have been smart enough to ask the prosecution if they had a higher quality video or gone to the source of the video.
  6. That's your personal issue.  There's always been court cases where people are outside protesting.  This is nothing new and not grounds for a mistrial.

IMHO, Rittenhouse had no place being there with a loaded weapon when there was a curfew.  And, if he felt that his life felt was threaten at any time, then he should have gone home or headed to where there was law enforcement.  You're just looking for problems carrying a gun like that in a riot situation.

Really?? I have an issue with you saying that it is perfectly acceptable to give different quality. I am sure they though they received some as others and did not need to go out of the way to even ask for better.

Seriously? How can you even justify that..

Make me question your other point, EVEN IF they seemed solid.

Used to be uncompressed in CDs then DVDs.

But for real - in matters of life and death should there not be better tech protocols? Makes it seems like they are all amateurs

But it's a fact.

In cities run by far left Mayors & City Councils who espouse the "defund police" mantra the police response was politically interfered with; neighborhoods and businesses were allowed to be trashed and burned. Ferguson, Kenosha, several left wing bastions out west. Outside agitators came to town and police were held back.

A counterexample would be Detroit last year; when the outsiders came to town the city fathers said NO!

DPD Chief Craig had good relations  with the local protest movements, who agreed to help keep the lid on, and police were out in force. When the outsiders tried to charge a police station the local protesters stood between the police and outsiders, to their great credit!

Even so, outsiders were attacking cops and others with bricks, railroad spikes and other improvised weaponry - but the lines held. The politicians stayed out of it.

Huge difference: Detroit did not burn.

I haven't been following this trial all that closely, but from what I've seen, I would almost hope people are hoping for a mistrial on the grounds that the prosecuting attorneys seem to be acting like this is the first case they've ever tried with all the missteps and things. The judge seems to be an attention ######, or something also, with all the odd ball stuff he has done.

I always thought the prosecutors HAD to turn over all evidence and NOT with hold a single thing?

For what it's worth it is a mess from all over. But if you blame the kid also blame the ashats that did the disturbance

Don't be snowflake-ish.  If the facepalms bother you maybe you should get off the internet.   And as far as makes sense, please let me know when that happens.  You posted a lot of nonsense and expect no one to respond, you must think you're special, and you are, but not in the way you think.

Childishness??  You're the one who can't handle facepalms.  Super offended?  No, I just find it ridiculous, you could have just made your statements and not brought me into your nonsense.
