our school wont let us go off campus. lunch is $1.75 including milk. fruitopia or water bottles are $1.00. assorted frito lay and little debbie snacks are 50 cents each. we often order pizza during our free period though. $5.50 for a large from dominoes with the school discount. good deal.

Curious since alot of us are underage what do you eat at school?

Like cause I heard some schools have Mickey D's.. Subway.. Pizza Hut.

What the ****? Another reason I hate Virginia.

I myself get a Powerade in the morning then throughout the day I'll go to the snack machines and munch on em whenever I get the chance.

Then at the very end of the day I grab a soda from the machine and hit the buses.

When I was in high school, we had:

Avanti's (local italian place)

Taco Bell

Pizza Hut

Burger King

I think that's it. Maybe I can be a model.

when i was in high school they had subways and pizza hut

but they always ran out of the cheese pizza right away and never got it in there heads hey maybe we should get more of the cheese next time seeing as we sale out of that really fast.... and they never had anything but meat subs

so i was screwed out getting to get any of those things.

No one is allowed out to their car w/o any escort.

No one is allowed to go anywhere from school until the bell has rang..

Guess it's a bit messed up..

We have some good milkshake machines but they are considering taking those away because they're all fat.

IMHO if your fat then don't have it.. why make the skinny people starve.

is this a jail or a HS? my HS used to have a cafeteria that served loads of crap, sandwiches, fries, burgers, pizza, drinks, chips, chocolate etc not to mention the pop machines everywhere. And at lunch we were free to go in and out as we please as well as bring in outside food. Most of the time we'd hit up Wendy's and bring it to the caf and eat it there

in high school, i always brought my own lunch, but on hotdog/pizza/fried chicken day, i was all up in dat b*tch!

now that i'm in college, its a mix between papa john's, the commons, and chick-fil-a.

oh yeah, and in high school we couldn't leave for lunch. or eat outside.

LOL... At my school that I graduated from 2 years ago, they wouldn't allow you to bring your lunch to 9-11 and the columbine shootings... And I was just talking to someone and it is still enforced. No bringing your lunch to school, no backpacks, no binders, no leaving campus for lunch, no long coats. They figured that if their was anyway you could get a gun in the school, they'd think around it.

Man rpm, if that's your diet I feel sorry for you! No wonder America has the fattest population if your diet is the average!

Myself... I usually pack a lunch in the morning, a tuna & avocado sandwich, fruit drink, yoghurt, apple, slice of cheese and a water bottle.

Yeah I was about to post the same thing. You gotta fix up what you eat RPM...and anyone else who eats similarly. Eating chips, pizza, fries etc for lunch at school makes me cringe. Why not take some fruit, decent sandwiches....like chicken with salad, or ham etc...

You'd also be saving your money too.

I was all about leaving school for lunch in highschool. MY city is relatively small 600 000 pop. So there were like all of 1500 kids at my school. So the lunch room was small and the 'store' had hardly anything in it. So i woudl just drive out to one of the malls or fast food places.

My high school allows open lunches, but a large majority eat in the cafeteria. We usually have a meat item, two sides, and a desert. They also have an ala-carte deally with chips, cookies, drinks, and fries on it. It's pretty good, I suppose. If you wanted to, you could take a quick walk to the two nearby gas stations (both offer lunch deals), the grocery store (cheap, good meals at lunch time) or Pizza Hut. Some even go home. Yeah, I live in a small town. :(
