No one is allowed out to their car w/o any escort.

No one is allowed to go anywhere from school until the bell has rang..

Guess it's a bit messed up..

We have some good milkshake machines but they are considering taking those away because they're all fat.

IMHO if your fat then don't have it.. why make the skinny people starve.

At my school, we come and go as we please, and since I'm 18, they can't even stop me. Heck, I even park in the teacher's parking lot, and despite the numerous threats of getting towed or ticketed, I still do it.

Alex, is security a big thing at your school?

im exactly like you, eat all you want and not gain a pound. i ate all last summer and lost a pound, go figure. but you maybe be healthy outside but i bet your arteries are damn near clogged.

I'm the same way. I eat and eat, but since I have a high metabolism, it doesn't show. I should watch my eating, because like you said, my arteries could be clogged. lol

2,700. Hah!

We have 251 students in our high school!! heh

There's a thought. For those of you that can't leave school for lunch, ever thought about having someplace deliver? I'm sure you could call from your cell-phones or something and have a nice meal ready for you by the time the bell rings!

Cell phone! Cell Phone!?! Those things are OUTLAWED! Didn't you know?

Didn't stop me from carrying mine though... lol

Haha yeah...I hate the fact that mobiles are restricted at school (of course everyone uses them anyway). The vice principal patrols the halls and takes away phones for the day if he sees them :rolleyes:

Well they serve lunch in the cafeteria, it's not even bad food, but I don't go there anyway. I usually go to the McDonald's a couple of blocks away or get something from the vending machines. Student groups usually sell sushi and pizza in the foyer as well (for fundraising) so sometimes I grab a a slice of pizza too.

I find it weird that some schools don't let kids go off-campus for lunch :huh: it seems like your school is really tight on security Alex!

Outlawed? lol. :)

They were also banned when I was in high school. Didn't stop me, or anybody else for that matter. You just have to be a bit crafty. :D

Hey man i live in a small town outside of Vancouver BC and mostly all the surrounding schools have effing KFC and Whitespot (Whitespot's a really really good BC resturant chain). but my school is like 30 years old and they wont put any new caffeteria stuff in it, so we only get 1 thing to chose from every day, soup (mostly tomato) Salad ( greed or ceaser) and chicken ( monday and wednesday is strips, Tuesday and thursday is chicken burgers, and on fridays we get chick ceaser wraps) you can get salad and chick for $4 or salad for $2 or soup for $3.50. most of the kids in my school eat chips out of the vending machines for lunch. its ****ing pathetic

Hmm bloody tight school here. Tuck shop is **** food. Can't leave campus until your in year 12. After school your uniform has to be perfect, or else you get in **** with the prefexes (mind the spellin..)... and you can't eat while walking (outside of school), thats right, no more munchin on mcdonald's fries while ur walk.. or at least while your in school uniform.. i hate this damn school... but on the upside.. no mobiles can ring in class, teacher can't seem 'em. but durin recess n' stuff u can fully use 'em.

School I went to: 650 students

Compulsory uniform

Small canteen for snacks

Not allowed out of school grounds

Need to be escorted to go to a car at lunchbreaks (eg to get books)

No Mobile (cell) phones in classes.

You have vending machines? Whoa..

My mates and I were threatened with expulsion for going for a drive to md?s at lunch. Our teachers were great, the admin were a bunch of assh?.

I'd do that but at our school we can't "use" cell phones (but we can have them), and there's noone good around to deliver... I might try that sometime next week though :)

At the begenning of the year, our campus was semi-open, meanin we could walk off but not drive. then they closed it because some retards took schizoprenia pills at lunch. When they closed our campus, they PROMISED they would not raise any prices

3 months later, guess what they did....

RAISED PRICES

Food - BEFORE --> AFTER

Pretzel $1.00 -> 1.50

Bagel $1.25 --> $1.75

Soda $0.50 --> $0.60

Dang Nazi Administration

anywho, i usually eat a pretzel and cream cheese or pizza

we also have Chic-Fila or i will bring something good

I guess I am lucky.. lunches at my private high school are awesome here are the details

-Lunch included in tuition

Typical lunch consists of

Hot Entree (Something like Meat Loaf w/ Gravy)

-Line also includes starch such as Mashed potatoes or rice), and some kind of hot vegetable

Sandwich Bar

-Make your own sandwiches - Peanut Butter/ Jelly, Egg Sandwich, & Tuna

Salad Bar

-Make your own salad they typically have fresh lettuce, and things like tomatoes, cucumbers, mushrooms

Yogurt Bar

- Yogurt with condiments such as Strawberries, granola, blueberries, honey, toasted almonds

Hot / Healthy food

- Usually 3-4 hot entrees such as Vegetarian chili and other health items

Pasta Bar

- Several kinds of pasta

Juice Bar

-with 4 kinds of 100% fruit juce, Iced Tea, 2% Milk/ Chocolate Milk, Hot Teas, and Hot Chocolate

And all of this is buffet and already paid for.. Tell me if I am not spoiled

there are 3 cafes and a sandwhich bar in our university shops. so if i'm hungry i would either get some coffee/cake there, or if i could be screwed, i would drive to some fastfood shop if it's in between my classes. though most of the time i pack my own lunch :D

about our university: around 5000 students (guess), mobile phones ring in a lecture = you get kicked out of the lesson for the day, if it rings in a test, you automatically lost 10% of your final score :crazy:. it's pretty laid back :D
