spikey_richie
Not sure if this is best here or in the media room... So I saw an article earlier that says some AV receivers that use a HDMI 2.1 chip can't process 4K @ 120hz Quote The glitch appears to affect 2020-launched AV receivers from Denon, Marantz and Yamaha. We've listed the models below but they all have one thing in common: the latest HDMI 2.1 chip. Quote The affected products are said to include: Marantz's new SR range (SR5015, SR6015, SR7015 and SR8015), Denon's X-series range (AVR-X2700H, AVC-X3700H, AVC-X4700H, AVC-X6700H) and Yamaha's RX-V4A and RX-V6A. So if you have one of those AV receivers and you're having issues with your new Xbox or Play Station, that's why. Steven P. Administrators Posted October 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2020 Mine appears to be 4K@60Hz https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/466597/onkyo-ht-s5805/specificaties/ My TV only supports 4K@60Hz on all ports though as well https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/55OLED803_12/oled-8-series-razor-slim-4k-uhd-oled-android-tv-with-ambilight-3-sided haha! Edit: it is a 120Hz display though, so IDK https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/1237195/philips-55oled803-zwart/specificaties/ Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1401743-major-bug-hits-ps5-and-xbox-series-x-friendly-av-receivers/#findComment-598596490 Share on other sites
