George P Global Moderator Posted October 22, 2021 Global Moderator Share Posted October 22, 2021 It's already made $130m outside the US and without China. It might not make a billion but it doesn't have to. I think we're going to get a part 2, for sure. And really there was no way to make the thing into a single movie. Unless you wanted a 4hr+ movie? I doubt the studios and the movie theaters want that. It had to be split up. Only problem I have is that the wait for part 2 will be longer than it had to be because of the pandemic and so on. +Raze Subscriber² Posted October 23, 2021 Subscriber² Share Posted October 23, 2021 9.5/10 Fantastic! The scale of some of the scenes was incredible. The acting well done, the music ethereal and beautiful. Part 2 had better be coming out soon, very soon!
Jim K Global Moderator Posted October 27, 2021 Global Moderator Share Posted October 27, 2021 Till Death (IMDB) - Streaming on Netflix Surprisingly good IMO ... strong performance by Megan Fox. Side note: Not a movie ...but Maid on Netflix is really, really good. I binged watched that last week ... I highly recommend. George P Global Moderator Posted November 11, 2021 Global Moderator Share Posted November 11, 2021 Saw Shang-Chi last night, it's your typical MCU movie, they don't do much to change the formula with these. 7/10. Them trying to retroactively tie this into IM3 wasn't really needed IMO.

I don't know but I suppose it really depends on how close you are with the person in question. Not everyone handles these things the same.

Fleet Command
@George PBy the way, does Greece have any unique social norms? I'm assuming Helenism is not being practiced there anymore.

But again that's down to how close you are to the person who passed away. It applies more to direct family members, and it's pretty much the only social norm that I'm aware of. +E.Worm Jimmy and Fleet Command 2 Share
Fleet Command
Very similar here. We have Muslims and Christians, both observe 40 days of mourning. The other day, I was watching Red Notice; I was worried I might be laughing too loudly. It was a strange movie; I wasn't sure I was laughing because it was a comedy or goofy, i.e., whether the predominant nonsensical state of affairs was deliberate or a director's mistake. I needed a good laugh, but I also didn't want to offend anybody.

George P Global Moderator Posted November 16, 2021 Global Moderator Share Posted November 16, 2021 I just saw red notice to, 6.5/10. It has some funny moments but it's mostly a silly over the top popcorn flick. Jim K and Fleet Command 2 Share

I mean I enjoyed both actors in other semi silly movies (free guy and jungle Crouse, recently) but I don't like Gal at all and the idea of this movie does not see to have Jumanji adventure or real life video game adventure appeal. So should I watch or should I not... Let me know.

Its one of the better MCU movies. Let me guess: It's about a guy who beats up other guys to save the universe. The antagonist is someone immortal, immoral, or immune, who wants to open a dimensional portal to Dormamu/Thanos/Ether/End of Time/(Something nasty), which comes every once in a (n * 10 ^ m) years during celestial alignment. And then, during credits, a scene plays in which someone does something he or she wasn't supposed to do. And I'm guessing there are ten rings that are either made of Vibranium or Infinity Stones. +Warwagon 1 Share
