Cannot save pictures to PC from Outlook 2019 Email.

Question

I got a new PC and wanted to use a picture from my iPhone as my desktop background so I sent the photo to my email address, I use Outlook 2019 as my email client. When I right clicked on the photo in Outlook, there was no option to "save picture as," there were a few options that were grayed out and the one option I could click on was "save as picture" which just saved the email itself and the icon is an envelope, not the picture itself as it would be if it saved as a jpg. I then tried it with Outlook webmail and it saved without a problem. Other than this Outlook 2019 seems to be working fine.

I hope someone can help me rectify this problem, thank you in advance for any help.

Not sure what you mean, there is only one photo in the email. I don't understand why when I right click on the photo I do not get the menu with the "save picture as" choice. I have another computer with the same version of Outlook and when I right click on the photo the Save Picture As choice is there and when I click on it I can save it where I want.  It's only on the new computer that this is a problem. Is there some setting I should check?

This sounds like a license issue. Usually what you describe happens when Office is in read-only mode.

Question 1 would be is the version of Office installed on the new pc the "trial version" that comes with pc or did you download and install?  I mention that as I have found the one that comes with pc doesn't always seem to register licenses properly.

My troubleshooting steps would be.
- Remove the current license and then. add it back in
- Remove the license, then go in to Control Panel -:> Programs and Features and do a repair on the install
- Remove office and download / install it again.

Just as suggestions.
