Trailers show too much

Recommended Posts

Searching for new movies to watch and I always make the mistake of watching the trailers to see what the movie is like. Trailers show too much and completely destroys the movie. Just a thought.

Some do. Recently more so.

Most of the time before it never destroyed a movie for me.

I have not watched one in at least 5.5 years though. I go with critic and audience rating and text comments to judge if I will start to watch it - never the trailer

I think it's hard to spoil a marvel movie to the point it will ruin the movie. It's always the same story with a different costume. And since marvel movies are the only movies made these days then ...

I believe they kinda always did that. It really helps me skip movies that I have no interest in. Trailers tell you the "what" of a story. You watch the movie to know the "how" of it. That's how I always viewed them.

I'd rather watch a Trailer than base my decision on Reviews. (Critic or Public)

I don't agree with them enough. Sometimes, a movie is so "Woke" that it

pisses me off, but the Reviews give it high ratings without mentioning

that. Or it's the exact opposite... a movie isn't "Woke" enough and gets

blasted. I'd just rather watch and decide for myself if I like it.
