bluebsh
I think the 200 some megs is a big download for when you only use about maybe 80 of it, how about working on an incremental download system? or a download by demand system? (i know that is harder when you have mirrored servers like this) but it'd be nice if you could pick what you wanted have it download just that then install it... kinda like the IE installer use to do... OptiPlex
The best that anyone can do is split the AP installer into parts. Pack #1 contains Windows updates Pack #2 contains regtweaks Pack #3 contains "extra toys" like MSN Messenger and IE SPELL CheckEr
SilentKnight
That would really defeat the purpose of what AutoPatcher is accomplishing. If you want to download only what you want as the IE install did you can goto Microsoft's download site and get each piece seperately. AutoPatcher is more like the admin install of service packs and such where you download everything and then install what you want so you do not have to download each piece when attempting to install on a single or more importantly multiple computers. akaladis Veteran Posted February 14, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 14, 2004 regtweaks is about 1mb, so i guess we cant have the separately... now, we *could* split it into 2 packs... but that will take some time... we *will* think about it /Raptor
