JustGeorge
I don't have a game console, so this alien territory for me. Someone asked me recently about locking down game consoles that kids may bring with them into an institutional setting. This environment prohibits communication with anyone not on an approved contact list and the clients aren't allowed to use social media of any kind. Given that modern consoles are tied to online services, this seems like it would be a nightmare to manage. How would you allow games to download updates but stop comms with other people within the service or apps on the console? I do know they come with parental controls that likely cover things like that, but would like something that wouldn't force you to touch every console that comes in. More centrally managed etc. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1411616-possible-to-lock-down-xboxplaystations-in-an-institutional-environment/ Share on other sites
