sighhhh.... you americans :p

a game doesnt have to be 99-100 for it to be interesting.. the most common score in UK soccer is 2-1... and each goal is celebrated a hell of alot more than some one "slam dunking" or hitting a "home run"

more than slam dunking, yes.. basketball doesnt compare, way too much scoring. But in football, baseball, and hockey.. hockey especially.. scores are celebrated pretty heavily too, ive never been to a big soccer game though

I live in the UK... and support Liverpool (were the beatles come from :p )

and dont mean to sound niave... but i wud be suprised if any celebrations surpased the ones when we beat manchester united at cardiff in the league cup final... or any of our other trophies from the year before... you should go... i kno american soccer isnt the same standard.. and the atmosphere wont be good coz u get like 3000 supporters max... which is a real shame because its a great sport

k im not gonna troll.. we've had our share of celebrations here.. ive been a part of a few.. i think it just depends on what you grow up around. I didnt grow up around soccer and always found it terribly boring.. but i find that many people say that about baseball and american football.. i'll be on my way now, enjoy your soccer.
