kiddingguy
With only 2 days before the GA of Windows 11... how stable and complete is Windows 11? Of is is better to "just wait" some more and have Windows 11 all sorted out? +Warwagon MVC Posted October 3, 2021 MVC Share Posted October 3, 2021 Ive been running it on a computer with an unsupported 7th gen i5-7600 cpu and it runs great! No issues! In one area it's working better than than windows 10 but it may have also been an issue that was fixed with the in place when I did the upgrade, which is when waking up from sleep it now goes BAM to the password but, before you had to wait a moment. zhangm Supervisor Posted October 4, 2021 Supervisor Share Posted October 4, 2021 From my experience with the preview builds, I'd say that all the features implemented *work* but there are smoothness issues. For example, File explorer performance in Onedrive directories is a bit laggy, particularly when adding and renaming files or directories repeatedly within a short time span. It's entirely possible that non-preview builds lack some of the diagnostic overhead and perform more fluidly.
