Software to Create a List of Installed Programs with Links?

Question

When I refreshed my Windows 10 machine a few months back, an HTML document appeared on the desktop that listed all software I had installed on the PC and some even had links to the websites so I could re-download.

Can I run this manually?

Preparing to fresh install Windows 11 so want to know what software I have around the place, other than the obvious ones!

Similarly, is there a tool I can use with Edge to save the extensions and stuff I have installed?  Or if I sign back in, will it back up from the Cloud and restore stuff?

Thanks

edge syncs extensions now so they should come back once you sign into the browser again.

even syncs the extensions installed from the chrome extension site.

Thank you both kindly.

Not sure it's really worth my time.  For some reason I didn't move from 7 to 8 (was that free?) but I guess I'll be moving to it at some point so may as well do now.
