Error with Microsoft Teams Free Home Edition?

Question

Windows 11 Pro x64 22000.348

Clean Install on October 6th

((Storage drive in at the time 1TB Storage, replaced with 4TB WD Black, restored Macirum Image)

Anyways Teams refuses to Install, the error message shows

App installation failed with error message: Windows cannot install package MicrosoftTeams_21302.202.1065.6968_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe to volume E: with media ID {20202020-5720-2D44-26E0-9A7AD1244026} because the volume is offline. (0x80073d0d)

Any recommendations or suggestions on fixes?  should i reswap in the 1TB Storage drive?

Hello,

The error message gives what looks like a modern Windows app (universal Windows program, Modern, Metro, etc.) filename, but also mentions it could not install to Volume E:.

Modern Windows apps typically install to the %ProgramFiles%\WindowsApps\ directory, which on most computers is located at C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\.

Was something done to the computer to change this location?

how are you going about installing Teams and which version are you intending to use?

the new client comes bundled with Windows 11 and shouldn't need manually installed.

I'm not sure if you can install the Windows 10 client or not in 11 due to the newer client being bundled through the store now.
