Dark Mode Broken in Windows 11?

Recommended Posts

WTH is this crap? I am finding a lot of pop-up windows such as this one that are not in dark mode, even though I have dark mode enabled. I can't believe this. Hell, even Linux has dark mode in everything. WTH????

It is not necessarily broken - it may simply be that some applications have not been updated to use dark mode yet - Notepad requires a separate update to use it (11.2111 or later) and it can also be implemented separately - I have dark mode on ONLY in Notepad - which matches Black Mode in Office; however, i have light mode elsewhere.

What makes you think I didn't? LOL. Of course I noticed. MS hasn't fixed it. The real question is: Why haven't they noticed?

Right-click within Microsoft Edge is dark mode, right-click a non tabbed area of the title bar of Microsoft Edge isn't dark mode, right-click a tab in the title bar of Microsoft Edge is dark mode.

Right-click within Firefox is dark mode, right-click the title bar of Firefox is dark mode, right-click a tab in the title bar of Firefox is dark mode.
