Can my Surface Pro 6 monitor be used as an external monitor?

Is your Surface owned by your company? Can't you just upgrade your Surface, maybe use this as your second machine?

 

IIRC, its not possible to output video. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The company is me haha (well it's a family business), but I'm the one who is behind all IT related adquisitions

As for external monitor, I'm not sure. You try it yourself?

should be able to use it as an extra display. i did a quick google and many results come up.

 

the main way is to use it as a wireless display it seems https://www.onmsft.com/how-to/how-to-use-a-surface-pro-or-laptop-as-a-second-monitor

Didn't even know where to begin, even if it were possible.
now with @Brandon H post. It'll make sense.

Thanks @Brandon H now for my next step, is getting a new PC. (didn't want to get  new one without knowing how it would work).
