kiddingguy
After installing the 1.5 patch I get this flatlined message. I used to run & play this game, so my system is capable of it [see sys-specs of gaming rig in sig] I have updated nvidia drivers - 511.79 (I did even a reinstall/refresh of it). I ran a verification check on the game files, I tried to run the executable of Cyberpunk - no success here, I reinstalled Microsoft's VC++ 2015-2022 installer. All without success. I also uninstalled and reinstalled this game, Is this a bug at this moment? Or is there something causing problems? And if so, what & where? Ash
Does the link "What does this report contain?" link give any informartion? If it gives detailed info, that might help narrow it down. kiddingguy
https://www.gog.com/forum/cyberpunk_2077/cyberpunk_game_will_not_launch_now/page1 There is a complete thread on gog.com The message I get which is in on of the crash files - thx @Ashfor the tip, which is discussed here, is: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005) The thread attempted to write to an inaccessible address at 0x48. Apparently, this has something to do with the Nahimic services. I disabled them via msconfig > services, and now it runs! It appears that this Nahimic service is causing more errors (I also had this with another thing). So, is this Nahimic thing really necessary on my computer? What does it do? And can it easily be uninstalled and not having issues/problems with other games, configs or software? Im in win 11 and have no mention of Nahimic anywhere on my system so im gonna guess something you installed came with it? Audio driver for some device maybe? From what I understand is that they come with the audio driver on my Asus notebook. And I cannot uninstall them, just only can have them 'not run as a service' via msconfig. Kind of annoying, but that's how it is... Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1415656-cyberpunk-2077-flatlined/#findComment-598713200 Share on other sites

Nahimic adds some audio processing objects to the Realtek drivers I believe...I'm not 100% clear on what all those do yet. You might be able to update the Realtek drivers from the ASUS support site to fix the problem.
