Payload: 53 Starlink 1.5's w/laser inter-satellite links (ISL)

Trajectory: 53.2° inclination, NE trajectory

 

ISL's allow the Starlink satellite network to route  data around the planet without sending it back down to a ground station. The more satellites they launch, the more routes are available, including over the poles and oceans. As we type airlines and the USAF are testing Starlink on test  aircraft.
