Is there a way to reset tripped KNOX on Galaxy Tab A (2016)?

Recommended Posts

I made the silly decision to root my tablet, but now I want to sell it on I prefer to be able to restore KNOX if possible. It is the SM-T580 (WiFi model)

Right now it is reporting 0x1 (tripped) and I know "newer devices" can't be fixed because of a physically blown fuse when this happens, but does this also affect the 2016 Galaxy Tab A?

I put the stock firmware back on it yesterday along with the Bootloader and CSC Home files, and that is the only thing still not "stock" right now.

Yes, it affects the 2016 Galaxy Tab A. IIRC the fuse goes back to at least the Galaxy S5 and has been on every Samsung device since then. It's why I try to avoid Samsung devices if at all possible.

Once that fuse is blown, you can't unblow it, only hide it with a leaked engineering bootloader if one exists for your device.
