Streamlining my setup

Hi, I've got a real buzz on recently about streamlining my desk & computer setup.  I have all sorts of peripherals that I just don't use, and I think my setup is a bit outdated.  Also, I am trying(!) to move away from PC the whole time to Mac.  So, my plan is this:

 

• Replace my two decade-old ultrawides (1080) with a 32" 4K monitor.
• Plug this into a thunderbolt dock, with the speakers, webcam, keyboard and mouse attached.
• This thunderbolt dock can then plug into either:
  • My Macbook Pro
  • My personal Win11 laptop
  • My work Win11 laptop

 

Thus giving me essentially a docked desk for whichever laptop I plug in.  This sounds simple, but I just want to ensure I've not missed anything...
