A few days ago the left hand side was made smaller, and the delete button was moved over to the left a little. I've been accidently clicking archive instead for the last few days. I've mostly gotten used to it now but today I've noticed I'm getting 'advert' emails. I click them and they take me directly to the page they're advertising. It's not great, as you can see from the picture, its trying to mimic real emails and seemingly using existing emails to try and fool me into clicking them.
I ordered from the company 'Wickes' for a delivery, the order was for the very same Buffalo 4 Tier storage shelf that is now the advert at the top of the email.
Every time I refresh the page, a new advert email is there, seemingly taken from context of my existing emails.
What's the point of the Junk Email filter if Microsoft is going to push Fake spam emails directly into my inbox.
I don't mind adverts to support services if it's really needed, but this tactic is dirty.
I just hope I'm in some kind of test group because otherwise I'll be moving email provider.
Is anyone else seeing this new type of 'advert' or do I have some kind of malware injecting adverts?
