Preferred file system for flash drives in Linux?

So exFAT is the way to go? I'm using NTFS for now, never gave it much of a thought.

 

I think macOS isn't happy with it, but I have none around. In any case as long as there is one that's half decent and works across them all I'm happy 😊

Yeah...ntfs has ok support in Linux more or less, but in macOS, ntfs is read-only if memory serves.
