I'm running an Asus ROG Strix x299 II motherboard, Intel i9 10940x, with Corsair Vengeance 3200 RGB Pro memory. My PSU is a 1200 Watt Corsair. I am also running the latest BIOS for my motherboard

I am able to use the AI auto clock clock to get 4.8Ghz and the memory runs at 3200. In the past, I have been able to hit 5.2Ghz, no issue.

I am able to hit 5.0Ghz with my RAM slightly overclocked (3350 I think), it boots into windows, I can ping it, I see my fans load up, ect.. However, I have no video. The video from the BIOS doesn't show nor does video in Windows, but, it's booted in Windows. I've added more voltage to everything, in small intervals, and nothing seems to work.

It seems no matter what, if the RAM isn't running at 3200 exactly, it either won't at all or will boot into Windows, with no video.

Any ideas on where to start looking? I've researched and tried 100s settings it seems and I'm at a loss.

Might be your GFX card. Try resetting it. and reconnecting your power cord to the GFX. I don't think this has to do with overclocking..

I doubt it. This is common behavior for failed overclocks. Especially since it boots fine when the memory isn't overclocked.

Are you using XMP profiles or setting the ram overclock manually?

After digging into more of it, the BLCK speeds was causing issues with the video card. I set it back to default and messed with the multiplier and i'm at 5.0Ghz again 😃

Thanks everyone
