the new guy is Ramesh Powar.

i just want to ask that when he was playing he was resembling dark Sachin!:p

what do u think?

and Ramesh Powar is from Bombay ... where i live .

There is conspiracy going in Indian Selection board for some decade now, which is working for not picking anyone from bombay and if picked dont select them again.. so when Powar (who is a great all-roounder) ; was picked i was surprised.

The conspiracy is so true that ZAHEER KHAN who is bombaite and bombay ranji player... but he went to BARODA (gujrat) Cricket Board and played from there and got selected in Indian team... he knew staying in bombay team will only harm him .... also Rohan Gavaskar (do i need to tell he is also a bombay-boy) went to Calcatta and is Playing from there .. cause he knows playing from Bombay wont get him selected ever ... there are many examples like this to prove the conspiracy ...

You might agree or not agree on the above things .. but you gotto agree on this .... the warm appreciation by Pakistan crowd for GOOD Cricket has made both teams to lift their performance-standards UP ... this is a Record-Breaking Cricket being played there.... the whole world is watching in awe .

From behalf of all peaceloving Indians here and the Indian cricketers , I want to ThanK the Pakistani people from the bottom of my heart for this warm treatment .. may this lead to other good things also.

KYRO.

yea ramesh powar - hes looking good, his shots were spectacular

and yes exactly my thoughts, i said the exact same thing when he came out to the field. he did look very much like tendulkar/sehwag

cant wait till friday, hope INDIA wins

India really needs big hitters like razzaq comming in the lower order who can hit boundarys from the word go. The problem iis that india needs an established batsman to stay till the end for them to have any chance to accelerate. If that does not happed they usually crash

reminds me of Robin Singh. He was good at finishing .... with victory

Personally I think that Pakistan should move Razzaq up the batting order as he does not bowl as well as he used to, plus he is in excellent form as a batsman right now.

I think Yuvraj Singh and Mohammed Kaif are good at the bottom order. I remember the Natwest series in which India was like 150 for 4 at one moment and then they won the game chasing a target of 326 I believe.

Razzaq is good at no. 4 ,5 coz here in this position match is usually is going to end and scores are needed in bulks. so Razzaq can do this specially with Shoaib Malik. i can see Inzamam holding the trophy of this series. indians won first match because of extras and failure of new person: Naveed-ul-Hassan. you dont need to bet now...coz Taufeeq Umer is there (if you dont know him, try to find the video of practise match)....Tough Tough Tough for indians to win this series.

but i cant stop dreaming indians :)

Third match tomorrow for both the teams as we move on to NWFP's capital Peshawar, a pretty controversial area regarding cricket history but Pakistan has a good track record there and it will be again a thriller of a match between India & Pakistan. Indians need to show a good performance as then we will head over to cricket's capital in Pakistan i.e Lahore where Pakistani team has an awesome record.

Hameed and Razzaq win it for PAKISTAN

i think hameed shud have been given lbw a couple of times

umpire (not david shepherd) did give some wrong calls, like inzamam ul haq wasnt out.

india's openers are really struggling, maybe balaji shud open :)

irfan really showed that he shud be a part of the team

another thrilling game tho

If you didnt notice what Imran Khan said and most people who follow cricket should know that if you noticed how Yasir Hameed was playing he was attacking the ball, always coming forward, most of the time even more than inzamam`s stride, and most of his even spectacular shots were when he came to the front foot walking, it was a clear issue of height. Laxman was also out if you want to play by non height rules even though Laxman didnt play well at all, just see the match replay and how yasir hameed was playing, he came FAR ahead of the crease to play the ball as he never goes back to the backfoot. Hawkeye said it would go on to hit the stumps, but notice that too it says it will hit the stump by Centimeters not even inches

Another thrilling game yet again. Awesome bowling by Shabeer and awesome batting by Yasir, Razzaq, Moin, and Inzi. The lbw which got Inzimam out didn't make no sense at all. The ball was way outside the off stump, I think the umpire gave in to huge Indian appeals. Anyway, Pakistan lead the series 2-1 and that ought to put some pressure on the Indians.

And YAY! Pakistan won. I also enjoyed Razzaq's batting. He is in top form right now and I hope he will continue to be like that. :) ;)
