spacelordmaster
I installed Sorin OS 16.1 on my laptop and this annoying thing comes up every time I boot it. After a few seconds it goes away and Zorin boots. What is this and how can I fix it? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1420665-help/ Share on other sites
Nick H. Supervisor Posted August 17, 2022 Supervisor Share Posted August 17, 2022 <Moved to Linux> Honestly, you don't need to do anything. I get a similar message when I boot into my Linux Mint partition but it boots just fine. I remember looking into it when I first saw it and the advice was always the same: don't worry about it. cork1958
I don't get all 3 of those errors but do get that first one on a couple Linux machines here. Like Nick said though, don't worry about it. Mindovermaster Global Moderator Posted August 17, 2022 Global Moderator Share Posted August 17, 2022 It's an interrupt error. Kernel related. I get that all the time on my older laptop. It doesn't stop you from booting into the OS, it's just a BIOS/UEFI issue. Like said above, just ignore it. zikalify Editor Posted August 17, 2022 Editor Share Posted August 17, 2022 Totally normal, I get stuff like this showing up when I boot Ubuntu. Not this message in particular, but other ones.
