The funeral will be televised on most channels tomorrow with programming starting at 09:00 local time (BST) https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001cqwt

Normal televised programming in the UK will not resume until Tuesday September 20.

Will you be tuning in? If not you can give your reasons in this topic.

I've been watching for most of the day. It's been an incredible ceremony.

Same, the British have been blessed with no rain for most of it as well. In The Netherlands (just to the East of England) we've had some proper down pours throughout today.

Simply don't have tv on during the day, so won't be watching. There will enough coverage of it on the local and world news tonight, for me.

Edit: Ok, I lied. Have it streaming on computer ATM.

That is what I did with BBC1 on my local Ziggo Go app.

There's been universal praise for the coverage on the BBC, as well as Huw (hue) Edwards' reporting.
Everyone from the music to the same guys who carried the coffin, with 8 flawless transfers from the gun carriage to the hearse and then into and out of the various buildings.

If you're British and didn't feel some sort of proud feeling when the Navy linked arms and pulled the coffin through London, I'm not sure you're human.

You'll also notice how the Royal Family, especially Charles showed few emotions - Crown before personal bereavement.

Really glad there was nothing major that went wrong and in such short notice too.

Well worth watching if you can:

Skip to 2:45:00 / 2:47:00 for the Navy beginning their journey.

Yep there has been a lot of commentary here in The Netherlands too (that has its own royal family) that they could not pull something like that off themselves.

It was like that chap who was awarded an MBE in June and was one of the 2000 present in Windsor Castle abbey said, how they flawlessly coordinated the whole thing from the music and the marches and presentations is just amazing and something to be proud of.

I had it on all day and found myself immersed in parts of it, watched till the end.

I am a Royalist, and I hold a very special affection for Queen Elizabeth II - my grandmother was a very close age, literally worked alongside her for a while in the land army, and was the spitting image of her.  Since my grandmother died, seeing the Queen on TV or hearing her was really quite lovely, a reminder of how my grandmother had such similar mannerisms and speech patterns.

However, I am on vacation in Florida and have Express Pass on Velocicoaster, so...
