Text not displaying properly

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure this is a hardware issue, but it might have to be. I haven't always had this issue at work. On certain websites, text is almost totally unreadable because itmsedge_XOW9QZlzgV.thumb.png.63d3039854dbb91b83ce3cc7059817f7.png is so light. I'm using Edge Insider Beta, and tried Chrome and Firefox and all 3 do it. ANyone know what might be going on?

If all 3 browsers are doing it then I would look at the display drivers, check if there is an update. Barring that, maybe its an Windows Accessibly setting, or clear type I think it's called?

Can you take a look at the CSS and see what font(s) the site is using? I wonder if the site is using a font that's not on your system and they aren't sending the font info to the browser and Windows is doing it's best to find a match.

It's not just that website. It's weird. I went on another computer in the office with the same widescreen display and it looked fine. I'm looking at a few of the pages on my home PC and it's fine too. I installed the nVidia P400 driver and it didn't make any difference.

There a difference between Window versions? Between work and home?
