jnelsoninjax
My wife is on Xfinity Mobile, $19 a month for unlimited talk/text and 1 GB of data. For the last few months she has been going over the data, and she says that she rarely uses it, and has it turned off unless she is going out of the house. Is there any method for seeing what programs are using the mobile data? When she is home, it is on WiFi. Steven P. Administrators Posted September 28, 2022 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2022 Most modern Android phones have a datasaver option and options to limit app data when not on WiFi Here is my note9 on Android 10.. Data Saver in Android settings, note the massive difference between WiFi data and Mobile data. You can even select the apps which are allowed to use Mobile data, so if your wife has Android 10 or newer, you can decide it right away in the settings. Edit: I think if you manually set the apps which may use data (WhatsApp and so forth) then you will get a breakdown of what each app is using, You may even be able to set things like don't download attachments in messages on mobile data, the apps usually have a setting that restricts large data downloads when off WiFi.
