Switch with two accounts?

I got a Switch couple of years ago from my friend because he didn't use it that anymore. So the console has his account witch he has used to buy some games. I also added new user into it with my credit card and I have bought a lot of games into it.

Now the same friend bought an OLED version but he said that maybe we could swap these consoles because he always plays on TV and has no need for OLED display.

So the old console has that initial user "User X" and it has CC information and couple of games have been bought with that user.

Then there is the "User Y" that I created with my CC and have bought a lot of games with it.

Can we just remove the User Y from the old console and then sign into new console with that account so we end up with the OLED version with only the games bought by User Y. Then we can leave the User X on the old console.

I tried to find information about this from Nintendo but it's really confusing.

You have to initial a system transfer i believe

So I can’t just login to new switch with my account and download my bought games and save data?

yar primary consol will need to be reset on the switches when u relog in but it should be no problem, i have 3 switches with 1 having an extra account

If someone has an island, the second, third, and forth user on the switch can become residents on the first users island.

They can't have their own island. Unless you want to start with a new character you have to transfer from other switch.
