Reinstall Xbox Controller software/drivers

Question

Hi all,

I currently use an Xbox Wireless Controller with Windows 11, but I have noticed that the Xbox button does not work anymore.  I've done some investigation and it looks like its something to do with the settings on my W11 PC, as it works fine with my W11 Laptop.

Does anyone know how to fully uninstall and reinstall the Xbox controller and it's drivers from Windows 11?

You don't need to reinstall the software, the settings your looking  for is in the gamebar's Settings -> Shortcuts

Sorry I forgot to add that I have tried all of the Settings.  The Gamebar is enabled but the controller needs reinstalling it seems.  Even the Xbox Accessories app can't see the input when using the Test Mode.

Games recognise the controller as a general controller it seems, but Windows 11 wont see it's input so the Xbox button, share button etc dont work.
