Cleaning Thermaltake V200 Front Fans

Recommended Posts

The V200 has 4 squeeze type plastic connectors on each side of the panel. Starting at the bottom squeeze a connector and pull from the front of the case panel. Do this both sides and then move up to the next one. maintain a pull pressure on the panel.

Ok will give that a shot, hopefully I have success this time

((Topic started via Galaxy S22 Phone))   appears that one creates alot of lines for who knows what reason lol, tried editing to fix that (fixed)

Then hopefully stays dust free for a while if possible lol,  as kinda pain disconnecting everything, moving case,  dusting as best i can,  then putting all the panels back on, then taking back to original spot, then reconnecting all the cables,  managed to get one side open in last attempt, and cleaned best i could--should've though asked this then, and worked on side with intake vent more right then, now i have to lug back to work table, and do a 2nd cleaning when i get time asap here

This is why I gave up on Thermaltake. I had a Tsumai and an Armor Jr case from them, and they were trash compared to something like a Fractal Define R5.

Eh?  You're comparing early 2000 cases with the Define R5?  I had the Tsunami as well... didn't really love it or hate it (it was light as hell, I remember that).

Well hopefully my next case isn't too many problems with the front intake fans, and filters for intake, and better cooling in the future

But for now will make due with current case as best can, and try to keep it clean of dust to best of my ability with my electric air dusters

Corded and Cordless one

What's wrong with that? I'm saying get a newer case, with easily removed fan filters.
