Logitech Pro X Wired Headset Little Question

Hello All

To Access Rear PC port i had to use USB extension cable for the headset,    if i decide to unplug it at night to put in a safe spot so cat can't get to the wire,   is it fine to leave the USB extension cable plugged in and just detach from where the headset attaches?       Plan on using it if its possibly with Both Windows 11 Pro Desktop and Windows 10 Laptop at times when i use that system.

 

At night might store it underneath Laptop desk ontop of it's box or inside its box so its nice and safe from the cat is my current plan i think

Yeah, leaving it in is fine. When nothing is connected, no data is being sent. Like a USB Hub. You woin't probably use all the ports.

Excellent, just wanted to be sure!    and yes with my usb 3.0 hub i rarely use all the ports all at once--unless i'm checking whats on a few flash drives
