Storing Gaming Headset at Night--Best Place Suggestion til i get a Headset stand

Recommended Posts

Hello All

Would it be fine if i stored my Headset On Top of PC Tower at Night?    as i don't really like disconnecting it every night--though i do share the same headset with Gaming Laptop,  so sometimes i do have to disconnect it.       But would it be fine to store on top of Tower at times when sleeping or not using?

Plan on getting a headset stand soon as i can afford one in the future

Excellent then, just wanted to make sure before i left it there later tonight, as before i thought of this, was unplugging every single night

Eventually will purchase a headset stand, and transition to leaving it on there when not using in future

Hello,

I used to do that for many years.  No problems noted.

If you do not need a headphone stand with LEDs, USB, etc., then you may wish to look for a "banana ripening stand."  Many of them will hold a headset just fine, and they cost much less than headphone holders.

Maybe I'm missing something, but can't you just set them down anywhere on the desk? It's a headset, not the crown jewels. I usually just 'hook' mine on the edge of the desktop by one side. Been doing that with headphones in general for over 40 years and not once (headphone or headset) has ever suffered any damage.

Well didn't think of hooking them anywhere on the desk,  purpose of putting on top of the Tower thus far, as our cat typically don't go near the tower part of the Computer Desk,  the upper monitor shelf it sometimes goes to--so decided to try to put it somewhere safe so wouldn't mess with wire or knock down
