Linus Sebastian Stepping Down as CEO for Linus Media Group

I'm not sure how news-worthy this is, since most of the changes will be behind the scenes rather than things the viewers see, but Linus Sebastian is stepping down as CEO for Linus Media Group and will be the Chief Vision Officer instead...whatever that means.

For what it's worth, I understand what he means. I've mentioned before that I've done management positions and I've hated it - it's taken my time up in areas that I had no interest in, and that meant less time focusing on the things that I enjoyed doing.

Since the new CEO (Terren Tong) used to be Linus' boss I'm sure that we won't see any massive changes. But time will tell.

Linus and Yvonne will still own the company, he's just stepping down from actually running it day to day.  Nothing else changes, in fact he'll have more time to focus on the creative stuff I presume, and be in just as many videos as now, if not more.  Fair play to him, I could never be a CEO.

He's still in ultimate charge, just hired someone to handle the business end of stuff below him as him and his wife are still owners the CEO still technically reports to him in a way, even though he has no direct reports he still has final say if he wants to

Nothing changes from a viewers perspective, just got someone to do the boring stuff so he can spend more time doing what he loves and spending more time with his family.
