Joni_78
I made small plug-in for my personal use years ago. It has a .html page + .DLL file and includes some ActiveX code. It basically open's Blu-ray's from Movie Library in Media Player Classic. On windows 10 there was a notification when the page loaded, something about unsafe or unsigned ActiveX... After accepting it worked fine. If I went into Internet Options > Security and dragged the slider to lowest setting that popup was gone and all worked fine. After I installed Win11 I noticed it doesn't work anymore. Page loads but it won't display that warning also wont open that program. I went into security settings I tried the same I did with Windows 10 but no luck. Does anyone have any idea what might be the cause of this? Something to do with ActiveX because I get no warning of it in Win11? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1429324-activex-on-windows-11/ Share on other sites
Tomo
It used Internet Explorer which has now been removed from Windows, you could try running Edge in Internet Explorer mode.
