Good but Cheap Top Level Domain for Personal Email

Recommended Posts

I'm partial to no-ip.com myself. it utilizes ddns. there are free and paid options. pretty sure even the free tier supports using as an email domain. Main restriction on the free plan is you're limited to 3 domains and you need to renew every 30 days; you'll get an email each month for that though so it's a non-issue IMO

Look for short deleted domains in the .com/.net tlds.

^ this is a nice website with powerful filters. For instance, I scored a 4 letter word .net for myself.

Other than that, (name).dev is a nice one. Nothing beats a .com/.net, and once you've got one, there's no gotchas like "premium names" like you get on the new gTLDs.

Thanks all.

I'll have a look at namecheap as that seems to be a good one.  It's a shame my name with the last two letters as the TLD has been taken - and since 2007 so not likely to lapse registration.

I guess the .me is okay as it's me!
