bikeman25
Hello All How in the Heck suppose to get the last screw out to get the darn thing open for cleaning or Battery Replacement? Or is it best i backup all data asap and get it to local shop and have them work on it, and dust clean it, and replace the battery at same time. Yes i may have Stripped it, but original screw driver worked fine with all other 9 screws, 10th Screw being a pain, even tried other bits with my Ifixit tool kit recently got, and still nothing--about to give up **Noob with hardware a bit lol, but trying to learn as best i can** Edited October 25, 2023 by bikeman25 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1434865-issue-with-hp-gaming-laptop-hp-omen-15_ce019dx/ Share on other sites
Mockingbird
You should use a stripped screw remover. goretsky 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1434865-issue-with-hp-gaming-laptop-hp-omen-15_ce019dx/#findComment-598859673 Share on other sites

neoraptor
put a piece of rubber (like from an internal bicycle tire) and apply pressure with the philips. Worked for me in the past.
