AM5 Build - 7800X3D!

Recommended Posts

Today was a good day! Upgraded from:

X570 AM4 Wifi Tuf, 5700G, 32GB RAM, to

X560 AM5 Aorus Elite AX, 7800X3D, 32GB RAM

I was having pretty big issues with the previous system, I've kept the 6700XT and storage for now, but I'm loving the Aorus' 4x M.2 slots. Its amazing!

I like the Corsair 4000D, it's not as easy to build in as I thought, but it looks nice enough! She's so pretty  Now to play some games 🎮

The Thermalright PA 120 is amazing for the pricepoint and should do a great job.

I've changed the fan curve, its basically silent all the time with just a tiny hum, it's really impressive anyway nevermind that it's next to nothing to buy :)

Sorely tempted to OC the 7800 but I know nothing about it, I dont know if it has the headroom but I doubt it needs it as I'm barely going to be pushing it.

In that case, definitely not recommended, especially since these CPUs dont support it. There was a rumor but it never materialized: https://www.neowin.net/news/official-overclocking-support-is-allegedly-coming-to-the-ryzen-7-5800x3d-soon/

Still you can watch this video for fun and guidance
