Currently using Samsung NvMe 500GB Boot Drive,  Samsung 860 Evo 1TB game SSD, and Western Digital 4TB Storage drive---Debating on updating Boot NVMe to 1TB possibly Western Digital or Samsung Model depending on what i can afford when birthday comes around in February, be nice to use 1 Dashboard in the future for all Drives--instead of Samsung Magician like currently, and Western Digital Dashboard for other drives

 

 

 

HDD:

I recently went with 20TB Toshiba Enterprise MG10ACA20TE drives when upgrading my home server.

These drives had a 5 year warranty, seemed to get great reviews and were a fair bit cheaper than the equivalent Western Digital or Seagate drives here in the UK at approx. £300 per drive. Historically I'd used Western Digital drives when I last upgraded the server around 10 years ago.

SSD:

In my main PC I've used Samsung SSD's for the last decade. Currently I have a 2TB 970 EVO Plus NVMe SSD as the sole drive.

For my pfSense router / firewall I have a 128gb Patriot P300 M.2, in my home server / NAS I have a 2TB Patriot P300 for Docker containers and VM's. These were both chosen for their very low idle power consumption due to the devices been on 24/7.
