NZXT CAM - another crap app that doesn't allow to disable updates

Add to that Kingston Fury.

This morning here is how I found the app, because the lighting did not set to my preference and remained default white

I had to exit the app from the tray and restart it to get it going again, buggy POS.

And of course there's no "if it ain't broke don't fix it" setting to disable automatic update checking.

I continue to be disappointed at how software has evolved into the forced "great beta test" to consumers, instead of companies focusing on delivering quality, and don't get me started on how there's literally no RGB standard, so I need 3 different apps to controls some LEDs!! /rant

Not sure if this will help you but I have been using this with their app uninstalled for a couple years to control Case fans and Cooler - GitHub - liquidctl/liquidctl: Cross-platform CLI and Python drivers for AIO liquid coolers and other devices

My Elite 360 doesn't appear to be supported.

BTW I am supposed to be able to control the Kingston Fury Beast RGB through the motherboard firmware or Polychrome Sync, eliminating the need for the crappy FURY CTRL software, which resets lighting preference (even though I created a profile) with every forced update, but of course, it doesn't work.
