Laughing-Man
Nooooooo! That is a classic Eagles move to not get someone like that. No suprise here. I can't see Ray Lewis and him getting along at all because neither probably wants to share the spotlight. That and Ray Lewis seems to get ****ed off when people are not working as team players. I thought McNabb and Owens would would have made an awesome team like Batman and Robin. :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/143960-nfl-to/page/2/#findComment-1795564 Share on other sites

They'll get along alright. Either TO will behave, or he will feel the wrath of Ray Lewis. CatnipOligarchy
I can't see Ray Lewis and him getting along at all because neither probably wants to share the spotlight. rays on Defense though, so i wouldnt imagine that would be too much of a problem unless TO starts mouthing off or dropping passes. i think itll work out well for the ravens.. a passing game was a weakness for them last year Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/143960-nfl-to/page/2/#findComment-1795587 Share on other sites
Laughing-Man
Now that I think about it more, I think the Eagles' office was pretty stupid. Why didn't the Eagles' office offer up the first round pick in 2005 we got for Feely. Why should we care for a pick in 2005, we needed TO this season. The Ravens only gave up a second round pick for him, that is a pretty weak deal. The Eagles better have some secret plan for why they did that, such as acquiring someone like Randy Moss now or else there will be trouble because we need a wide reciever BADLY. Laughing-Man
Oh man you guys should not go on the Eagle's message board, it is a very ugly scene right now. People are extremely ****ed. We are so desparate for someone to pick up the offense, arrrg this just hurts. TO is so worth giving up a 1st round draft pick in 2005. Laughing-Man
if anyone else is like me and couldnt resist that - http://eagles.hosttown.com/ .. im getting mySQL errors though.. The boards are getting pounded that is why. Yesterday when the Freak got signed the forum went offline too. Oh well I can keep telling myself defenses win superbowls, not offense. :p Now I am starting to cool down and I am thinking that TO necessarily would not have been a good fit for the Eagles. He could have become a cancer and destroy the Eagles like what is happening with the 49ers because he got in fights with coaches, players, and the front office. Perhaps it was for the best because he could become a trouble maker. We have a lot of second stringers that could step up and fill that WR position such as Freddie Mitchell and draft picks coming up. We shall see what the next move is going to be.
