LilSnoop40
Hello, looking for some recommendation on building or buying a gaming pc. The top end on the build or buying would be low $2K. Don't want lag, jitter if playing etc. main drive 2tb, second drive 1tb, mostly steam gaming. MUST have 10+ usb's as u can never have enough, will also need a vertical monitor as i already have to monitors. Games possibly playing cod, Elden ring, ncaa. About 2-3 weeks ago I received great help and built 2 office environment pc's couldn't of been happier. hoping i can get the same kid of great feedback to help me make my decision. Links, part list will all be welcome. Thanks again! Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1442892-gaming-pc-for-possible-streaming/ Share on other sites
Mindovermaster Global Moderator Posted June 21 Global Moderator Share Posted June 21 Would you mind telling us the specs of your "2 office environment pcs"? For USB, you can always use USB docks/hubs. USB3 or USB-C. So there's no problem there. Are you looking at Intel or AMD and AMD or NVIDIA? (CPU and GPU) Are you looking at ATX, M-ATX, ITX motherboard? And other than USB ports, what are you looking for? Dual M.2? Multiple PCI-E ports? Also are you going water or air to cool down your CPU/GPU? Cases are ALWAYS personal preference. Just be sure to look at what front panel ports it provides. Any idea how much RAM you would need? 16-32GB is about the norm these days. All I can think of right now.
