bikeman25
Hello All My Ping for Ethernet and Wifi 6E Desktop connection always around 13ms or 15ms, is there any known ways of reducing that possibly? Edited June 22 by bikeman25
neufuse Veteran Posted June 22 Veteran Share Posted June 22 (edited) you realize 13-15 ms pings are actually really good over a wifi and cable network connection? Even on my enterprise fiber connection at work its like 8ms ping times because of router overhead... and since you are on comcast (which so am I, and I get about 12ms ) until they go DOCSIS4 you're pretty much at the best possible ping time you are going to get over HFC networks
bikeman25
Ohh didn't realize it was actually really good. as sometimes i use the Wifi 6E Desktop backup connection, at least til Townhome Annual Inspection completed, then most likely going back to Wired Ethernet Cat 6A connection Ohh then i really have nothing at all really to worry about after all lol

Go to the internet store and purchase a better internet. 13ms is great!
