Brandon H Supervisor Posted July 1, 2024 Supervisor Share Posted July 1, 2024 you either need a USB drive or a CD/DVD drive. no other way to easily boot in to the installation media. your other option is to just load it up in a VM. +Warwagon MVC Posted July 1, 2024 MVC Share Posted July 1, 2024 If it's going to be on a Windows device and you plan on erasing Windows and installing Ubuntu. In that case, you might be able to repartition your hard drive, create a 12 GB partition, install Ventory on that, and then put your ISO on that partition. I'm not saying that would work but it might. Kelxin
Are you wanting only Ubuntu or just wanting to play with it? If you just want to play with it, there's plenty of free virtual machine programs that you can run Ubuntu without destroying the current OS.
